Well feck me senseless...

My parents just won a holiday to New York on Today FM! They practically get one foot in the door and they're going away again in like a week :D

I'm actually pissed off because I couldn't find a CD I was looking for in the HMV store(and this was over the internet and all). I found one that is very similar, but it's not the same :depressed:

It's Hallowe'en tomorrow... so I guess I'll be going out and getting quite drunk so I can say I did something relatively interesting. I think some old friends are coming down from Dublin to visit for a while, so that might be cool. Hopefully... :paranoid:

Anyway, it's winter. That means I'm back to wishing I could get my bedroom window fixed. It was put in badly, so there is always a draft coming from it, and my bed is right up against it. And putting on the heat does little difference which sucks. So the colder it is outside, the colder it is in my room. I hate that window so much... :|

Last time I was in New York..... I can't remember anything (I was like 11 at the time so cultural interest I did not have :()

It's the special edition of the Nightwish album Once. There are two (Once/Wish I had an angel and Once/nemo.) All I can find in the hmv store is the second one..... And it's not what I want, damn them!

Yay I found it on amazon!!! Thank you thank you thank you! :smooch: Now all I have to do is organize it all. But it will be so worth it :D

Do you like Nightwish? I love them to bits :)

They aren't usually this lucky.... That's what really annoys me about them winning that trip :roll:

Maybe you and me could.... 'arrange'... for us to win a holiday. That would be very interesting :plotting: :D

But I was only around 4 or 5 when we went to New York, all I remember is my Mulan doll that I thankfully had with me, and my new dungarees that where then stolen. Damn you, New York!! :shakefist:
Ah, alas, 'tis too late now, t3h pirateness has been and gone. :no:
Twas fun, however cold. I had to wear a belly-top. :sniff:
